The scope of application of EVA

1. Foam shoe material

Shoe material is the primary application range of EVA resin in my country. In the EVA resin used in shoe materials, the vinyl acetate content is generally 15% to 22%. Because EVA resin blended foam products have the functions of softness, good elasticity and chemical corrosion resistance, they are widely used in the soles and interior materials of high-end travel shoes, hiking shoes, slippers and sandals.

2. Functional shed film

Functional shed film has high weather resistance (weather resistance refers to the material used in outdoor weather), anti-fog droplet and thermal insulation functions, and the shed film made of a certain amount of EVA resin not only has high permeability. The light rate, and the anti-fog droplet function has also been greatly improved.

3. Packaging film

EVA packaging film, also known as environmental protection film, is a film produced by EVA material through casting and extrusion. It is a new generation of green and environmentally friendly degradable materials. It is biodegradable and will not cause damage to the environment when discarded or burned. Light, odorless, free of heavy metals, super low temperature resistance (-70 ° C), resistant to water, salt and other substances, high heat and other characteristics.

4. Hot melt adhesive

The hot melt adhesive with EVA resin as the main component, because it does not contain solvent, does not pollute the environment and has high safety, is very suitable for automated assembly line production, so it is widely used in book binding, furniture edge banding, cars and household appliances. assembly, carpet coating and anti-corrosion coating of metal.

5. Wire and cable

With the continuous development of computer and network engineering, people use more and more halogen-free flame retardant cables and silane cross-linked cables for the safety of computer rooms. Not only that, EVA resin has good filler inclusion and crosslinkability.

Toys made of EVA resin have good softness and elasticity, and at the same time, the surface gloss and chemical stability are also very good.
